Tuesday Collective

Hello my CG's!
First of all, Happy Holidays!

Its been a few months, I know... I'm sorry if you've been checking and I haven't been here.. but I have new stuff for you! I'm gonna tell you about good stuff for your hair, and a couple cocktails you should drink for Christmas. Two things I love! lol

First up, Hair!
In my November Birchbox I got this dry shampoo called “amika”. It’s the BEST one I’ve ever tried. I got a cute little .75 oz bottle and its lasted a pretty good while but I’m ready to get the big one!
I’m always curious how many days other girls go in between washing their hair. I do every other day, and sometimes everyday (I know, so bad). Even with the dry shampoo I can’t go any longer than one, but you girls that can go a couple days I commend you and you will so love this “amika” spray. The “amika” brand has long list of must haves for your hair, including styling tools. Check it out, I’m sure you’ll love it as much
as I do.
The 5.3 oz can of dry shampoo is $22 (far better than a $5 can of the crappy Herbal Essence I was resorting to. So very worth it, promise!), and they even have this super cute full size trio of the dry shampoo, dry conditioner (which I’m really intrigued about), and a texture spray… all for $50! And as you can see their packaging is really fun and if you’re a design and packaging junkie like me you’ll probably leave it on your counter just cause it's cute.
If you don’t get Birchbox and would like to, click this link and you’ll get $5 off your first box, its only $10 a month after that!

My subscription addition continues... I'll be getting by first GlossyBox in January. I'll tell you all about it next month! I'll throw in something fun from my Ipsy bag too!

Next, COCKTAILS!
I couldn't pick just one, so I picked two! They are different from each other, so one of them should strike your taste buds!

I picked the Winter Bourbon Smash cause I'm newly loving bourbon/whiskey, and especially Bulleit... it's the one my honey buys. And I picked the St. Germain Pomegranate Spritzer cause its easy and I Loooooove St. Germain!! J

Instructions
  1. Add 1/2 cup ice, preserves, bourbon, triple sec and orange juice to a shaker and shake vigorously for 15 seconds.
  2. Pour into serving glass with a few ice cubes and top with a splash of club soda. Garnish with orange slices and enjoy. Repeat for more drinks.
